Cote de Nuit Village Pinot Noir: Good deep red. Very ripe but reticent aromas of black- and redcurrant, licorice and smoky oak. Sweet and supple, but quite backward, with rich, chewy but youthfully closed redcurrant and nutty oak flavors. The fine tannins saturate the front teeth. Shows an almost Bordeaux-like structure. |
